Just one comment...
Don't be afraid of porting /view on machines with small resolution displays
;-)
480x160 is enough for vector-based graphics user interface which could have
been developed under /view and replace(and partialy emulate) the obsolete
static VID. I wanted to make something simmilar using DRAW but I haven't
enough time to do it for now...maybe next month or two? :)
