we solve that problem?
By fixing all the Rebol versions and "equalising" the various versions. Have
a Rebol/Core or Rebol/Base that is the same for all platforms that Rebol HQ
intends to support. Fix all the bugs and put the Beta versions as standard
versions.
Have beta versions of Rebol that have regular bug fixes, and then cycle
those betas into the standard versions.
Have regular updates of Rebol, say, every week a bug is fixed and new
versions of Rebol are created. Just like Linux was apparently done in the
early days.
Once all versions of Rebol are the same across all platforms, then
documentation could be reasonably addressed. I think the equivalent of a
Wiki would be the best choice. That would allow users of Rebol to pose
questions, and for users of Rebol (like us) to suggest answers, and Rebol HQ
staff could leap in and write some thing different. :) Then we could all
progressively refine the wiki documentation as we come across spelling
errors, grammar errors, and clear up vague descriptions.
And if we could put the Rebol script library into a similar system, that
would be great as well. Though probably would be better to run this through
a Rebol application, like IOS but easier to use, as this could cause a lot
of trouble.
