[REBOL] slightly off topic... sourceforge... steel

hi gang,
what's your opinion on having STEEL IDE ON SOURCE FORGE. is it worth the effort... would
any of you actually contribute to it... I'm thinking of the different release options
and that's one of them... steel will always be free and will NEVER force you into using
its foundation classes. its really just a code editor/preprocessor/annotator/documentor.
Its datafiles will be rebol text files (no special file structure with bugs :-)
If I knew that some of you would want to improve it and optimize some parts of the code
and submit your tools as integrated and shielded libraries, and even as integrated steel
modules (a bit like amiga's gold ed) ... I'd try using it ...
Steel itself (the ui) is not yet at an advanced enough stage to actually be usable, but
I might think of releasing some of its free library modules: open-library, liquid, metal
(integrated with liquid notification), and the steel-tools. Of course glass would eventually
be part of the foundation steel toolset.
You can, now, conveniently handle multiple notifiers in liquid's container class (so
in the metal vid style, you can have a notifier (signal, state, action, whatever you
want to call it) which is linked to different aspects of a face :-)
