the reason I prefer the mail list is that I don't have time to track information in several
methods or apps at a time. mailing lists are passive-aggressive... they ALL pop-up
in the same mail box. I don't care its slow, I'm sure Carl will hate me for saying this,
but I almost like the fact that the information trickles down at a reasonable rate.
if we could have a mailling list send of all the discussions on alternative channels,
then I'd subscribe to that. At least I get notified when new stuff appears and If I
want to speak, then I'd just log on the discussion and post my stuff by whatever means...
