hmm. dialup is probably too slow. just want to check out how streaming 
goes with about the same equipment as last year (Qt Broadcaster on 
MacOS X Tiger, DSS on linux server)

Quality is 2/10 and I have no sound

H.264 was much better. but it requires QT 7. which does not seem 
to like mpeg4.

let me try a different codec.

i got the poster from Petro Tyschtshenko (or whatever that is spelled)

if you have QT7 i can switch to H.264 which is much better quality
