console/new
[1/9] from: ammoncooke::yahoo::com at: 1-Sep-2001 2:27
Hi,
I need the same effect as veiw/new with the console object. I can't think of a way to
open the console without using a lame print command. Any ideas?
Thanks!!

Under View, could you use call/console? It doesn't look like Core supports
Call though.

No, core doesn't but neither does the unlicensed version of View. I would
like to have the functionality for view, I am sure there is a way to do it.
I guess I will just start researching...
Thanks!!

Re: console/new - launch ""
Try
launch ""
in the console.

Hey, that worked.... In the console. I forgot to add one important detail,
I need to launch it from View.
Thanks!!

1) edit pref.r file
2) replace desktop: true ---> desktop: false
3) save pref.r
4) try launch "" launch "" launch""
5) be happy

Ok I will just be happy, but I cannot afford to edit the user's Prefs.r I
think I will just purchase Command.
Thanks!! Your comments have been inspiring.
