I've tried that.
It *is* being found. Screen dump below:
tim-bart:~$ rebol
bash: /usr/local/bin/rebol: No such file or directory
I've found some comments from Carl that indicates that he has had problems
with rebol and ubuntu, and even tho I downloaded the rebol binaries for
ubuntu (both view and core) - this may mean that for rebol to work, a binary
needs to be compiled for a 64-bit ubuntu.
