Like most non-trivial extensions to REBOL, Unicode support is not
likely to happen soon unless there is a direct commercial demand
for it. In other words, if you have a commercial use for it and
are prepared to sign commercial licensing and consulting agreements,
then please contact us, and we can implement Unicode support for you
quickly. Otherwise it may be a longer wait, because our focus is on
the business side these days.
