It probably has nothing to do with your problme, but several of the
major ISPs are currently reporting EMail delays due to a burst of
the occurrence of a spam/virus that, while pretty well contained, has
still caused some `flare-ups'. For example, @Home was reporting
earlier today that they had increased storage by 40% in the short
run and were still having troubles.
In any event, I'd wait a couple of days for things to settle down
before making any serious efforts to track down problems. You
may be having a more general problem than you realize.
Of course, this may be in no way related to your problem...
