Thanks Holger. The point you make when talking about serve is exactly what I am trying to say: you can get the benefits without the worries in a slightly different programming style. If RTdoes threading within the interpreter (sometime) there really shouldn't be a difference when programming your own eval loop with clever switching between differnet tasks. It all runs on the same computer.... --Maarten
