yes, and enhanced show.r makes this an easy project to compete with 
things like Scala InfoChannel, esp. what REBOL networking does.  
 Anyway, REBOL compositing engine was originally targeted for interactive 
televesion /video.

does anybody know where I could get the lattest version of Show.r 
?

has anybody been able to use the file transfer ? I tried to send 
jean-Francois  show.r but did not work ?

the one involving a (very) very big clock, I think is not a part 
of show.r :-)

Louis.... the slide with sounds is a great idea.... would it have 
been possible to add sound to Carl's presentation script  show.r? 
... it uses make-doc like parsing from the slide file.   If you want 
an example, Doc Kimbel used it in his Uniserve distribution ... it 
is the REBOL 2 day presentation of Uniserve ... circa 01-Oct-2004.

That one was called %show.r and I think is likely available on an 
IOS server -- Developer?

anyone willing to create one or more themes for use with show.r that 
we could use for the devcon? i'd like to have a consistent theme 
(maybe inspired by the web site?) for all presentations (of course 
with variations, maybe in color or something like that, so each author 
can choose the preferred variation), and i also need a nice skin 
for a little reblet that will be included in show.r (i made one, 
but i'm no good at these things...)

Chris: i can do any required modification to show.r (as long as it 
does not take too much time, that is ;), so even a mockup or something 
like that is ok with me. but - even just a collection of nice bgs 
to use would be cool! :)

a bit big for my purpose maybe. i'll try it out anyway. i want to 
have a special version of show.r with a timer built-in. the idea 
is that if the speaker is getting late the timer starts to complain 
;)

Where do I grab the DevCon2005 branded version of show.r?

Carl used show2.r while the 'rest' use 'show.r'...I think.

DaveC:  For devcon 2005 Carl had a script called... show.r.  The 
script he was using this time seems to be slightly different from 
the last Devcon as the last devcon the show.r had a clock displaying 
the time remaining using a very fancy clock.

I thought you were responsible for that.  Seems Carl modified the 
idea for the new show.r
