Pekr: 12-Apr-2010 | I see it as a security risk, to allow such many important ppl to have on one plane. Sad event, I live 5 km from Poland border, we have many ppl with polish nationality here, we bear with them. And also strange symbol - they travelled to Russia because of past Katyn event, where Stalin killed 20 thousands of polish nationality - top politicians, military ppl, teachers, etc. - simply they killed polish elite of that time ...
Ladislav: 12-Apr-2010 | (I heard, recently, that as far as Katyn goes, there were about 22 thousands polish elites, and about 500 czechs too)
Pekr: 12-Apr-2010 | Yes, they simply eradicated all polish elite. This was an ultra-crime, and Poland will not forget it anytime soon. They were also first post-communistic country, who sacked russian army from their country IIRC.
Maxim: 12-Apr-2010 | still the sheer eeriness of the polish event is mind boggling. all the parameters are perfect for a conspiracy theory ;-/

Carl: 17-Jun-2005 | Well.... quite frankly, I think we still need some spit an polish on those modals. Yep.
Pekr: 2-Feb-2006 | from the law pov, we should not sell non-localised products. And for our IOS system, we planned to plug-in czech, slovak and polish users, as we live close to both poland and slovakia. But RT told me they can't translate for such small project, so ....
Henrik: 25-Nov-2007 | Here's a handy-dandy little thing: http://rebol.hmkdesign.dk/vid-resize.r Needs a bit of polish and some more testing, but it works.

Group: Linux ... [web-public] group for linux REBOL users
Pekr: 12-Sep-2005 | I need to prepare some installation instructions for our polish partner. I will do some scripts to access mySQL on their server, using rebol, but I will not have access to the site. So I want to be well prepared, so they don't get annoyed after writing them tens of times "try that, try this" etc. :-)
btiffin: 17-Dec-2006 | They are getting there. The open source army. The polish on some of the themes is getting very close to smooth. art.gnome.org and other such links. tango resource standards. Nice.
Group: Web ... Everything web development related [web-public]
Gabriele: 31-Jan-2005 | yes petr, i add things as i need them. i just don't have the time to polish it up and design a dialect for it
Group: Announce ... Announcements only - use Ann-reply to chat [web-public]
Dockimbel: 4-Nov-2010 | I've had recently the opportunity to dust off my experimental LDAP driver code, so I've decided to release it as-is, even if it's unfinished, at least querying the server and retrieving data is supported. Download at: http://softinnov.org/dl/ldap-protocol.r The query dialect is probably not working 100%, but at least basic queries should do the job. I don't intend to implement more features now because I don't have any needs for a LDAP driver, but I'll try to fix the query dialect if required by users. I might accept to add the missing features and polish it under contracted work or bounty (if high enough). Basic usage syntax and examples can be found in the file header. Please use Ann-reply group for feedbacks.
Group: !RebGUI ... A lightweight alternative to VID [web-public]
Henrik: 1-Mar-2007 | I think I'll leave button for now, because I don't really know what else to add to it yet. I will probably go around all elements over time and when I reach the last one, I'll start going over them again for more polish.
Group: DevCon2005 ... DevCon 2005 [web-public]
Pekr: 30-Sep-2005 | Besides that - don't expect off-line video to come anytime soon - Gabriele was talking about weeks, as he needs to grab it, polish it etc.
Group: PgSQL ... PostgreSQL and REBOL [web-public]
MikeL: 28-Mar-2011 | Yes ... much better idea ... I will do that testing while you polish off Red!
Group: RT Q&A ... [RT Q&A] Questions and Answers to REBOL Technologies [web-public]
Pekr: 27-Dec-2005 | so far, I will do with calling external conversions routines for submitted strings from polish partner ...
Group: Tech News ... Interesting technology [web-public]
btiffin: 15-May-2007 | I love the REBOL rarity lexical scanning. Drove me nuts at first, it looked reverse polish, as an ex-forther, that was a hard one to get round. But now...no going back :)
Chris: 4-May-2009 | Note that these are first impressions - I really don't know how much of a drag these apps are, or how much polish went into the particular apps I tried.
Group: !REBOL3-OLD1 ... [web-public]
shadwolf: 5-Oct-2009 | ofcourse it is a priority to polish parse ... but the thing is only car can try new feature... having opensource accessible to all mean alot of tries can be done and shown and that's better than the 1 to X relation we have. Mainly and i'm not the only one to say it we propose alot of things but since we can't show them they are. what do i want is a rebol that evolve faster ... it's been 2 years since rebol 3 enhancement started we lost alot of time in futil consideration like how do we name that and how about changing the name of this ... and we skipped during a loooooooooong time the main topic ....
Maxim: 12-Dec-2009 | Pekr, honestly... right now, a part from porting to another platform, there is too little documentation and oppeness for it to be very usefull to people in general. I expect a few other platforms to get ported by Carl (he did a linux one this week), so he can continue to polish the OS independance of the code as much as possible. Supporting the extension model on other platforms seems to be a big priority.
Group: !Cheyenne ... Discussions about the Cheyenne Web Server [web-public]
Dockimbel: 15-Dec-2007 | I'll release a new Cheyenne version next week, probably on Monday. It will be v0.9.17, not yet rc1, still a lot of details to add or polish for a v1. I'd like also to finish a working version of the control panel for the rc1.
Group: !REBOL2 Releases ... Discuss 2.x releases [web-public]
BrianH: 7-Jan-2010 | Some of the R3 versions still need work, and I didn't have the time to review them to see which ones. I'll import the fixes that are solid for now, and the LIST-DIR after the R3 version gets some polish.
Group: !REBOL3 Schemes ... Implementors guide [web-public]
Carl: 7-Jan-2010 | I need to move them into the R3 docs... so I'll polish them up during that.
Group: !REBOL3 ... [web-public]
Steeve: 25-Mar-2010 | Perhaps more logical to do so. But as I said, I can deal with this problem with no overhead. When time will come to polish Rebol we will manage it, but now there are still important missing features or bugs. Just a matter of priorities.
Andreas: 19-Oct-2010 | Except if "test" really means "polish up for release".
Andreas: 19-Oct-2010 | If Carl indeed builds from the same codebase, then a binary release is identical with a core-only hostkit release except for above polish.
Group: !REBOL3 Host Kit ... [web-public]
Oldes: 4-Jan-2011 | I will polish the test file and attach it to the bug report.
Group: !REBOL3 Source Control ... How to manage build process [web-public]
Maxim: 29-Oct-2010 | rebol in and of itself already does most of the low-level OS stuff... just two days ago... I used R2 as a delete function in order to polish a windows GCC script. this strikes me as a similar situation where rebol could be used to probably replace a sizeable portion of the msys stuff... though it might not be as fast and optimised... that I do concede.
Group: Red ... Red language group [web-public]
Dockimbel: 23-May-2011 | Well, it is a bit late now as Red/System implementation is reaching its end. I am trying to stick as close as possible to the REBOL syntax we are used to, if you have better propositions for the syntax, I am ready examine them, but I would like to finish on Red/System and start working on upper layers, unless you want me to polish Red/System for the next months and start working on Red 6 months later than I planned? |
