Pekr: 7-Jun-2012 | I hope we will gain more ppl looking into Red, I am warming up with BeagleBone, so I hope we can show something to the community in half a year. But right now, even my priorities are shifted - LED screen business, marketing company, photo studio, etc ...
Pekr: 1-Nov-2012 | Doc - the less time I have, the less I am willing to spend my free time, just to get around various things, where I need to get to the point. Multiplexing on 2zone advertising, new 2zone project, initial works for my new photo studio, X-zone wifi network, doing some charity for children next week, and my primary work, Walmark, I am being put on 5 new projects :-)
Pekr: 26-Dec-2012 | gregg, I contributed only 50 eur, as i am setting up photo studio. but thanks for reminder, will send in another 50 :-)
Pekr: 27-Jun-2013 | I know, it is just that I am multiplexing between work, red, creating ads for my led screen, photo shooting, photo editing, video editing. So basically I just jump here or there, and right after I was suggested to use Android Studio last month, because - it comes from Google, I am now supposed to install yet another toolchain. Last month I also installed my Visual Studio 2013 and got really scared by the complexity of all that stuff, that comes with it ....
DocKimbel: 2-Jul-2013 | Maybe Pekr could do an Android Red app compilation + execution on the online emulator short video too? If it includes one of your nice models from the photo studio, that would be even better. ;-)

Gregg: 27-Nov-2012 | This makes it easier to judge, if a photo is in focus or not when zooming in on a photo suggest: This makes it easier to judge if a photo is in focus, when zooming in on a photo
MagnussonC: 28-Nov-2012 | I searched for GCam on appshopper.com and got hits on the above mentioned app (in description they write GCam Swarm and GCam Server). I have alot of photo/image apps on my iPhone 4S. Good luck with your. As far as I know you can compress JPG to any degree.

Arnold: 12-Jul-2012 | With the 'large' programs I have in mind there will never be lots of garbage to collect. I don't know much/anything about robitics and control engineering by the way, I am interested in this because I realized using REBOL to do things like this could have large potential. And I want to move a little car with a photocamera and taking photo's from centain positions. The car may also be guided by a rail of some sort. |

James: 23-Jan-2005 | Hey, I found a really neat GUI interface in the Picasa photo organizer program from Google. (http://www.google.com/downloads/) If you download it or already have it, just click the "Timeline" button near the top of the screen. I think it would be really neat if someone could make a REBOL clone of that screen.

Volker: 16-Dec-2005 | I would use seperate sizes for media and script. script maybe 8k? its a demo, and a month. media should be more. because one feature is, take a photo and do crazy things with it. a photo in 32k is not much. a script of 32k takes some month work (its a demo, so it should be "this does in 32k what others do in 32k*8, and that kind of compression takes time)

Reichart: 3-Feb-2009 | Now I know what I will look like in about 10 years. The guy on "my" left is Aubrey de Grey. He is one of only several people who "get it" on this planet. So he truly is one in about 1 billion. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aubrey_de_Grey The guy on my right is my friend Todd Huffman He is a computation biologist, and we are both co founders of www.BILConference.com One of his papers http://tinyurl.com/awq9tq I of course am now Santa. Of note, 12 hours after that photo was taken, I shaved my beard off completely on stage... Since people felt sorry for me, they went out and bout a bunch of beards, and everyone started wearing them... http://flickr.com/photos/quinn/2340803599/sizes/l/

Jerry: 19-Jan-2007 | In 2005, I developed an simple English sentence parser in REBOL. It was a small experiment. It didn't support much grammar yet. The screen shot is here. http://city.udn.com/v1/blog/photo/photo.jsp?uid=JerryTsai&f_PHOTO_ID=471974
Jerry: 19-Jan-2007 | Not much. It just parses the English sentence inputed by the user, makes a REBOL block, and draws the REBOL block as a syntax tree. That's all. I am thinking about using it to "help" people translate documents or something. I might combine it with an REBOL Chinese Editor that I developing. Check it out here http://city.udn.com/v1/blog/photo/photo.jsp?uid=JerryTsai&f_PHOTO_ID=472052

Pekr: 19-Jul-2006 | one question re CSS. I have small template, where I put two images one under the other. You can look at http://www.xidys.com/hanka. But I will need to cut some images, and that fact destroys aspect ratio for me :-) I would like to ask, if, in CSS, I can define image the way that it would not be scaled? My definition looks like: .photo img { width: 614px; height: 460px; } and in html: <div class="photo"><!--[obrazek 1]--><img src="obrazky/IMG_1361.JPG"/></div>
Alek_K: 20-Jul-2006 | Pekr: 1. I don't know if i understand correctly, but if You give only one size (f.e. width), image will be scaled with aspect ratio to that size. You can set .photo size too of course (so it will not ruin Your layout) 2. Text under the image - I can't identify the problem. Can You give a link to it?

Robert: 16-Mar-2008 | Idea: I'm not a big fan of menus, tabs etc. to switch through an application. Looking at all these new GUIs from Apple styles (when viewing photos where it's like a fan and the middle photo zoomed) or the piclens stuff I had the idea how to use this for an app. How about having a way where I can see a miniatur screen of every data-form in a 2D grid moving in 3D space, where I can scroll left / right to the right picture, click it and get the data-form?

amacleod: 27-Feb-2009 | Actually size of the image does not seem to be the prob as this works: SQL reduce [{insert into images values (?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?)} "img/1" "img/2" "img/3" "img/4" "img/5" pic "img/7" "img/8"] where pic is a large 4000x3000 full color photo. I get no error. But if I loop 50 and insert the above data 50 times I get an error???

BrianH: 8-Dec-2008 | Steeve, when Reichart posted that photo and you said I looked crazy, I was worried that my eye strain from the glare was showing in the picture. I couldn't see the picture, as I was in it. Having seen it now I should have been more concerned about how loose clothing makes me look 30+ pounds heavier. By the way, last week was the first time most of the REBOL community had seen me, or any met me.
