Everyone has a phone with them these days

Jerry, I'm curious to what tools you used to write the book? LaTeX?
Word? Makedoc?

Henrik, It's PowerPoint. I make a slide with 320 pages. I asked myself
not to use bullet-point to make it not a traditional slide.
I also ask myself to make it readable slide.

Graham, he's an educator. He used to work for Rebol Inc back in the
day. I met him way back when I worked for Commodore.

He was invited to this world a few months ago, and I made a booboo
in overlooking his requests in the old REBOL3 world. I've invited
him again.

I wouldn't worry about comments being made on Carl's last blog. He's
not going to read past the first few. I'd be really surprised if
he's bother ot scroll down the page.
he'd bother to !!!!

He asked people to keep it short and to the point ...
At least the spammers can follow instructions, lol

Yes ! I don't know if it usefull or not, but I used the http://www.rebol.com/cgi-bin/blog.r?cmt-week=1
page to mark Abuse post (spam). If we are enough to do so, maybe
it will be removed !

Have bought a few things on the Apple appstore .. and wonder if Carl
would find it worthwhile to write articles for sale .. 99c etc ?

I bought computer magazines for more money and less interesting subjects,
but webwise I prefer free content.

Marked 37 comments as spam, doubt if it helps. Regarding the minor
number of comments this is simple neglect.

Ok, but it's free and github has syntax color for Rebol

How do you enable that? The R3 ODBC project could use that.
Kaj

I guess it should be automatic since Andreas implemented it

Well, the R3 source in the r3-odbc project is highlighting with the
wrong language. I'd love to fix that.
If I had to guess, probably R.
Maxim

I think you need to use the r3 extension.
BrianH

OK, I'll tell ChristianE :)
MaxV

[354]
the extension must be ".r", so github recognize rebol file
BrianH

In the r3-odbc project Github is not recognizing odbc.r as being
a REBOL file. It is recognizing it as a language that uses ' for
strings, probably the R language since Github already had R support
and R uses the .r extension.

Who uses R anyway?

I can see r3-odbc colorized as REBOL here: https://github.com/gurzgri/r3-odbc/blob/master/src/boot/odbc.r3
And my files are rocognized as REBOL as well with .r extension.
GitHub is using Pygments to do colorization.. the source for REBOL
is here: https://bitbucket.org/birkenfeld/pygments-main/src/1ac0be8fd826/pygments/lexers/other.py#cl-1270
I've noticed there are still some minor bugs, like file name containing
()

Probably "statistically speaking" :) much more people than Rebol.
I use it too for statistics based projects.

Surprisingly, R is ranked 12th among languages:

What is the difference between R and Rebol?
