Henrik, you need two main archives for the Boron demo. Pick the boron-gl 
archive for your system and use the boron-gl executable to start 
demo/present.b in the demo archive

You need to have OpenGL 2.1 and OpenAL installed in your system

I downloaded both, but the BoronGL application does not start. When 
I look in the console, it presents its help information there. I 
then went into the application bundle and started boron-gl there 
and only then was a console presented, which crashes, when typing 
DO.

Then something is wrong with the basic setup. When starting boron-gl 
alone, you should get a normal Boron console where you can try some 
functions

What do you mean by help info in the console?

what normally would appear in a terminal, is put into system.log 
(wrong place)

Petr, Graham, you are right: ReBorCon was originally going to be 
an R3 focused conference. I programmed Robert as the star speaker, 
but then the R3 part imploded

Then I thought Boron was going to steal the show, but so far, Red 
has :-)

I agree that it is not wise to use the old RebCon name or the REBOL 
trademark. I'm currently considering to name the conferences RebReunion 
from now on

We want to emphasize the family nature of these languages, and the 
goal of the conference to unite both the languages and the people

Petr is right that the gathering of people creates a powerfully positive 
atmosphere. In fact, organising this conference was extremely frustrating, 
to the moment that I didn't feel like doing it anymore, being there 
was wonderful, and now that we're back home, I'm immediately plunged 
back into the frustration again. It's a rollercoaster

Kaj - just a note - RebCon was NEVER an official name of REBOL conference 
IIRC. It was REBOL DevCon. At least 2005 (Italy) and 2007 (France) 
say so.

And as for me - I don't really care. All I care about is when ppl 
meet. That helps a lot to be more tolerant, spread a good atmosphere, 
and make friends.

Kaj - RebReunion does not sound nice, I might suggest RebUnion instaed, 
if you want to have Union in the name. But - the name is surely not 
that much important imo at least not now, 6 months from the next 
devcon ....

I suppose we could have. There's an assumption in there that it is 
about REBOL development, so Carl must be there. But when Robert offered 
R3 GUI talks, it was about REBOL development

I thought you did a talk on cURL binding so R3 was represented

It fell off the wagon due to lack of time. That's why we've already 
planned another conference

R3 was represented on the Syllable live CD preview

By the way, it looks like we'll be able to get a video stream up 
next time

The quality will probably be lacking, though
