Henrik - maybe ppl too want to choose, what they work on? :-) E.g. 
Graham started the work on Schemes. He really SHOULD (and was supposed 
to be) supported. Nothin happened. Robert throwed some Extension 
related questions to R3 Chat - no answers too ...

A number of us said that R3 chat was a waste of resources ... and 
... now, barely anyone uses it.

So people can choose what to work on and Carl can't?

Carl can do what he wants .. and that's the problem

Pekr, Graham knows more about schemes and protocols now than he did 
before. I'd say there is a win there.

Graham, so should we shut down the open R3 chat, which you and I 
can fix bugs in and use the AltME that people don't like because 
it's closed source?

Might as well shut down R3 chat as Carl isn't using it .. and that 
was supposed to be his communication channel

Who says that Carl isn't using it? I see some private messages trickling 
in once in a while. And Graham, you didn't respond to my question 
that I posted there 3 hours ago to help resolve the document editing 
situation on rebol.com.

Henrik - what are you talking about? Graham asked for assistance, 
schemes were supposed to be "revised" to see, if we use correct aproach 
in order for Carl to be acceptable ... it was promissed ... but did 
not happened ...

That's a manual page, so that looks OK. Can you edit a page like

see the word "edit" top right ... I think that's the only time you 
can edit a page

I think the point is that we should be able to edit those pages too, 
but it seems not to be the case right now.

And the point is we are blocked while Carl goes incommunicado ago 
...

we're not blocked in the manual

also I can see three more items checked on the priorities page from 
the last time I checked it a few hours ago, so docs conversion is 
progressing.

create the code - test it - write the final docs

why do you want to start at the end?

Perhaps it makes better sense for Carl to do this now to test specific 
areas of R3. During this, Carl has also posted curecode reports.

I see no new curecode tickets for the last 3 days

posted 4 and 5 days ago. a couple more earlier in the month.

While I agree that the website overhaul has a very bad timing, I 
also think that the new website is an incredible improvement

We finally have an official-lookin collection of changelogs (http://www.rebol.com/docs/changes.html)

There is an unheard of (for RT) transparence of work done on the 
website (http://www.rebol.com/recent.html). A cynic might think, 
though, that it can surely be only a matter of time until that page 
is locked down and protected and whatnot.
