older newer | first last |
Rebolek 5-Feb-2009 [477] | just do it. you already have one Wii customer. |
Maarten 6-Feb-2009 [478] | Joh,, I have used it years ago. If it is gane programming, you might consider Lua |
Geomol 6-Feb-2009 [479] | Ah yes, Lua. I've heard it mentioned many times, but never got to look at it myself. |
Maarten 6-Feb-2009 [480] | Nice, compact, good community. From the looks of it, nice books. Did I mention is was open source ;-) ? IIRC Adobe's lightroom is largely built with it as well |
Allen 22-Feb-2009 [481x2] | NickA: the d3d was Andrew Hoadley. Not an active member, but is a friend of mine who has a professional interest in 3D. |
Andrew's day job .. http://mvh.com.au/portal/index.php

Janko 3-Jun-2009 [487] | can anyone recommend a good MMO game to try... I long had some ideas for more lightweight MMO and would like to see how a good mmo works/plays but whatever I try it's pretty boring and bland, but I am not very knowledgable in gameplaying :) |
Geomol 3-Jun-2009 [488] | http://www.anarchy-online.com A big part of the game is free of charge. |
Geomol 4-Jun-2009 [489] | Janko, what MMOs have you tried, that you find boring? |
ICarii 4-Jun-2009 [490] | if you like your MMO with a little meat then try EVE-Online .. one of the best ive seen for thinking people :) |
Paul 4-Jun-2009 [491] | what does MMO mean? |
ICarii 4-Jun-2009 [492] | massively multiplayer online [insert genre here] |

Maxim 11-Jun-2009 [502x2] | yep cool I like the music. really good quality for a flash game... people usually use cheesy (bad) soundtracks. |

Graham 12-Jun-2009 [504] | Level 20 was the easiest :) |
Maxim 12-Jun-2009 [505] | the only one that really got me guessing was level 10 :-) |
yeksoon 12-Jun-2009 [506] | good game. took me some time to figure out lvl 10 as well |

Tomc 28-Jul-2009 [508] | http://woodgears.ca/eyeball/index.html |
ChristianE 28-Jul-2009 [509] | Scored 2.13, the point of equidistance one is probably the toughest one. |
Tomc 28-Jul-2009 [510] | my runs come out at 5 I suppose it could be my monitor ... yea thats it ;) |
Anton 29-Jul-2009 [511] | That Eyeballing game (done in Flash) is a quite simple mathematical game. My score was modal. |
DideC 31-Aug-2009 [512] | 3.8 |
Robert 14-Nov-2009 [513] | Oldes, how is machinarium doing? You got some very good reviews. |
Oldes 15-Nov-2009 [514] | I don't know exactly, but probably not bad.. We were also contacted by some people who believe that they are able to port it to consoles and even to iPhone.. we will see. |
Davide 22-Dec-2009 [515] | Machinarium on the first page of Reddit! http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/ahfbk/this_game_looks_gorgeous/ |
Gabriele 23-Dec-2009 [516] | yep, and i think this was second time (i've seen it when it was released, maybe not first position that time though.) |

joannak 25-Dec-2009 [518] | http://machinarium.net/demo/has x.mas special.. two games wth 10usd .. Not a bad price... |
Oldes 18-Jan-2010 [519x2] | It has been a difficult decision for us because we are big fans of Machinarium but we have decided that we will not be moving forward with the XBLA version of the game. One of the main objectives for our team as a 1st party publisher is to publish great games that are exclusive to Microsoft platforms (Xbox, Games for Windows). Currently, there is a significant emphasis on investing our resources in games that will be exclusive to Microsoft platforms. Since Machinarium has already is out on other distribution sites it falls out scope for what we are trying to do. I think there is a great potential for us to work together on a future title that is exclusive to Microsoft (Xbox Live Arcade and Games for Windows). If you are working on a new concept, please let me know and let's see if there is something that we can do together. |
it had to be difficult as they were deciding almost 6 months:)
Graham 18-Jan-2010 [521] | Oldes ... how about letting RT advertise the fact that you used Rebol tools to build this game? |
Janko 22-Jan-2010 [522] | Oldes: who is they? |
Robert 22-Jan-2010 [523] | Has anyone played around with Unity-3D? |
Janko 22-Jan-2010 [524] | I did just a little |
Geomol 22-Jan-2010 [525x2] | I was head of a project 2-3 years ago for the danish team behind Unity to port one of their games to a newer version of Unity. I found Unity 3D to have many features, but was too clumpsy to really work with. It may have changed, as I haven't looked at it since. |
The game was GooBall: http://www.ambrosiasw.com/games/gooball/
