I got a clothes dryer, shower, and central heating unit in the basement 
and the dryer vents into a box of water (scrubber)

Water and moisture are hard to avoid in Seattle, that's for sure.

The wet carpet and drywall is ideal for black toxic mold

I hope the ozone works for you, but I imagine you'll need some industrial 
kind of cleanup to get rid of it.

My wife started complaining of the mold smell first

it would hit you when you went through the front door

I was just bothered with the contractors and figured I would deal 
with it all at the end

but that was too late

Both of them have high output units

I hadn't thought of mold being on the back side of Drywall...  We 
had a flood in our place in Salt Lake.  We replaced the carpet but 
the smell of mold never went away...

Yeah Ammon the back side of the drywall it prefers the most

You might find out where you seen it at and knock of a piece near 
the floor and look on the back for signs of mold

I purchased a germicide that will destroy all kinds of fungus and 
bacteria and is concentrated.

That's sad because I know the guy that owns the place and I KNOW 
he isn't going to replace the drywall. Whoever moved in/will move 
there is undoubtedly have some trouble with it.

face & skin, and ventilate where possible.

Yeah I did alot of research on the net over this

I found that you can rent foggers and solutions but that might create 
another allergen for someone in the house

Fortunately, I was only renting the upstairs portion so I didn't 
have to deal with the smell too much...

These big ozone generators are hard to find locally - I wanted to 
just rent one

But I'm gonna look into making a deal with my bro-in-law

He runs an autodealership

Maybe I can make a few bucks with it  and decontaminate used cars

I'll just rent it out to him

You can actually by them for water purification also

and complete ductwork installed units
