It might end up being that way.

Kaj, there will be a useful subset of REBOL that will work on R2 
and R3 both. Optimized code will often not do so.

No UI yet, which I'm a bit happy about. :-) It is definitely not 
ready for release.

Running multiple sessions of RebDev is cool. :-) That makes it very 
flexible, as I can display the headings I want.

HEnrik, Are you still working on R3 styles or is that on hold?

on hold for now as I'm working on a large R2 project. it's also good 
to take a break to get away from it, so I can get fresh ideas for 
the UI.

I only try my best for Carl. :-)

The visual design is still up for change. I may figure out something 
better tomorrow if I get a good idea. It should also be evident from 
the screenshots that it's an iterative process. There are still a 
lot of things left to do to make this UI really "sing".

but I know I do most thing in itterations too

Henrik is the Mid-High level layer programmer while Cypre  is the

How are people coping with Carl's chat client ?

Seems hard for us oldies with only bare text to work with .. no graphical 
clues

It would help with a better console. I've also proposed to adopt 
a traditional LS/DIR, CD .. command set. I think that would click 
much easier for us.

will quickly degrade into huge lists. Just imagine 20 more users.

If you're going to look like a console, at least let's use console

yes, they do. I don't think that's harmful. I haven't noticed any 
discrepancies.

probably because you're only in one console at a time!

For a GUI version to do this, one could open N windows in the same 
RebDev script. I would love to see that.

no GUI client, only read-only mobile client.

I agree with btiifin, that 'tags for numbers would be nice. It would 
be nice to have e.g. R3 heading tagged as R3, and refer to it as 
R3 instead of the need to remember the number. I think that once 
GUI is available, this point will be moot. But I agree to provide 
some directory navigation like functionality.
