It is idealistic. But we need ideals, don't we? It's true about our filesystems. They are an old design. Simple and easy to implement at the beginning, but lead to big problems later. I would like to see those guys succeed and I will help them as I can. The Virtual Processor code looks good to me for the same reason as rebol - architecture independance. But rebol as we know it now is slow at certain tasks. It would be excellent to use rebol/command to include VP code libraries. Then you have a mix of assembler and high-level rebol, but still have platform independance. Anton.
