Hello,
Updated version of Texture Studio is uploaded to my REB.
run REBOL/View's Desktop, select Sites/Rebolek and then Texture studio
(maybe you have to reload script if old version is in cache)
or
type at console

Texture Studio is texture generator, editor, manager and now also "skinnig
system" for REBOL/View.
What's new since last released version (0.9.2) ?
-VID patched so most styles can use word 'texture to "skin" intself
try something like:
view layout [backtile texture 'metal button "Textured?" texture
'moon-hills]
-new VID style: 'texture-text for logos, labels...
-textures are cached so it's faster (only memory cache at the moment)
-GUI layout is more compact
-inbuild help (well, a sort of...)
-fixed parser and some other bugs
-one preset added ;-)
What's still missing (why it's not 1.0.0 ;) ?
-preset management + up/down-loading preset/textures
-disk cache
-more presets
-fix all possible bugs
Full version will be available in three separate versions:
engine + basic presets + VID patch - smallest set for use in other
applications (I'll try to get this one under 4kB)
above + additional VID styles - something bigger with greater functionality
above + editor - fullblown texture editor with preset management
and full version will be of course freeware (but betas are commercial
applications ;-)
