[REBOL] Lindows...

From: enter:your:email:address:here:rebol:(example: at: 15-Jun-2002 20:54

Hi, Disclaimer: I am not a Lindows employee, nor paid by Lindows to advertise. I just thought that some of you on the list would like to see a review from an actual user of Lindows... Has anyone used Lindows ( yet? I just ran REBOL/View from Lindows SPX for the first time, and was incredibly impressed when the text came up crystal clear from the start! Just thought that some of you who would like to use Linux, but can't quite walk away from some of your Windows apps might like to know that someone is looking to provide transparent Windows emulation inside of Linux. ] Lindows, from the founder of is based on the Xandros distrobution of Linux, and is Debian based. It is probably the easiest version of Linux to install. Lindows has a long way to go before it is a complete product. I have only successfully installed a few programs. It seems that they are trying to emulate windows 3.x so it is limited, but I believe they are working on it... Enjoy!! Ammon PS, In case you can't tell by my previous posts, I have even fully configured my email client yet...
