The answer is Yes, check out the animations on the reb
(Desktop/Rebol.com/Sites/Anton) http://users.bigpond.net.au/datababies/anton/rebol/index.r
anim-stars.r is probably the easiest one to start with.
Down the bottom there is a minimal layout, and an image
with a very basic 'overloaded' engage function. You can
put any code you want in there, to be executed at the
specified rate (of 40 frames per second).
(You should be able to scrap almost all the code before
the layout).
