[REBOL] OS X/Unix excution problem

OS X Leopard:
AM trying to have a REBOL script executed via launchd or cron.
The script itself, when manually invoked from a shell (as the same user as it is running
under via
launchd), runs smoothly.
When launchd (or cron) runs it, I receive:
** Script Error: user-home has no value
** Where: get-net-info
** Near: user-home
The script does attempt to send mail. I have placed user.r files in all strategic places
but that
does not seem to be related?
Any ideas where I should look?
