If MySql or PostreSql works for you
and you can use a TCP/IP connection instead, check out
http://rebol.softinnov.org/mysql/main.html
We use this all the time. It is a wonderful, high-performance
driver. Highly recommended.
I have seen experimental socket code to connect to MS-Sql server,
I believe that I may have it archived somewhere, if you're
interested.
