I'd love to see View on a handheld, and, and a Zaurus user, I'd be happy to
participate in any beta testing phase.
I think the main problem is the amount of memory REBOL/View needs. Don't be
fooled by the small download file: REBOL unfolds into a very large space in
memory.
On my machine (Windows, not Linux, so these numbers will vary):
-- Just loading REBOL/View takes up 3 megabytes.
-- Typing Desktop takes another 2 megabytes
-- And, with 768 meg of main memory, I don't have enough to try:
mold system none
But good luck! I'd like to see it work. And, I suspect in a year or two,
handhelds will have memory to match today's desktops.
