Hi Greg,
Im not pointing to a free version :-) Im a registered rebol user myself,
If its good? its worth paying for it!
Anyway, yes i know there was a standalown version of encap, but never
heard anything about it again except for the SDK and /encap.
Basicly i think?! that when encap is more reachable for the regular
,free scripting /core /view users, Rebol could get an explosive boost...
Generaly the audians that makes rebol big are the scripting people, then
the compagnies (they make the money) and then the rest of the world.
Rebol has 2 advantages above i.e. Lisp tcl perl phyton icon etc...
(except for "Brainfuck", thats a complete different story ;-)
1) Its far better scripting
2) encap is available to make wonderfull scripting small and in-reach by binary.
But thats just what i think, i dont have an insight in the RT vision ;-)
(R)egards,
Norman.
