Yes, that's because custom screens in AmigaOS cannot be shared between applications. Use View with public screens instead.

The alternative is to allow runnning scripts within the View environment used by the desktop, without launching a separate instance of View. We support that in /Link where scripts come from a trusted source, but not in /View, because the desktop environment requires more relaxed security settings (e.g. write access to the installation directory so preferences can be saved). Scripts are not supposed to have that kind of access, because that would make it too easy to write trojans. The real solution to this is having "modules" within View, but this will take some time... -- Holger Kruse [holger--rebol--com]
