[REBOL] A "Standard English"

I read in an article recently... 'In the future, all of our machines will talk to each other, not just in bits and bytes, but in a common language, a standard English that spans all systems and is easily readable not just by machines but by humans.' A quote taken from the Rebol site at one time. Question is, Do we have a standard English yet? What work has/is being done to standardize it? Terry Brownell
