[ALLY] Using field with hide

When I use 'field hide' in a style, visually it works. Unfortunately, the
'field/text' is also ***********.
Is there a way to retrieve the actual text or is this a bug????

Hi Greg,
'field/data is the one you want to look at.
face/data is used by (most) VID styles now.
