A graphical view of objects structures

 [1/2] from: chrismorency::videotron::ca at: 9-Sep-2001 17:22

Hi Etienne, After reading your email, I started working on something, mainly because I would have needed this too ;). So I made some preliminary work on this object structure thing, but since I had no experience yet with building layout and working with events, it took me a while to have something actually working. (I now consider myself a core type of person ;) Just to make sure I understand properly, when you mention lists, are you talking about blocks containing objects ? If you prefer to contact me personnally and speak in french, as from your name I gather you are, we can talk about it... Best, Chris

Hi all, For the VIRTUAL Office project, I would like to have a graphical view of the (complex) objects structure describing the config of a user account. The goal is to see, for debugging, this structure. This structure is an object containing lists of objects, evry object in these lists can contain (or not) objects or lists of objects, and so on ... But a list can also contain, in addition to objects, other things like words or strings. I know there is SysObj in the Jeff's reb site, and it is very good, but not enough powerfull for my use. And, unfortunalely, I don't have enough time to build this. Is there an implementation of this ? and where ? Thanks --- Etienne
