Hi List,
I noticed changes at www.rebol.com :
1. Documentation:
A new (revised) dictionary is available at
http://www.rebol.com/docs.html
2. Programs
New core and new base (28-1-2003) are also available for download
in a new format at
http://www.reboltech.com/downloads/
3. New format
Download are in .rcb format, explained at
http://www.reboltech.com/downloads/about-rcb.html
Core version is :
REBOL/Core 2.5.4.3.1 30-Nov-2002
Copyright 2000-2002 REBOL Technologies. All rights reserved.
REBOL is a trademark of REBOL Technologies. WWW.REBOL.COM
4. And finally "REBOL Developer News - State of the REBOLion - Nov/2002"
is not there anymore too.
Regards
Patrick

I just forgot to comment to this one - the doc is very nice! One of my
friends asked me just last week about some docs for rebol. Dictionary
and draw related docs are good addition ...

what is the purpose? wasn't there already one package rebol format? My
idea is:
1) add .zip scheme to rebol - would be loved by many devs. imo ...
2) the question - will 'upgrade command be operational in future once
again? As currently there is several places to download from, and whole
.rcb stuff could be hidden from eyes of ppl downloading/upgrading
3) we should move towards components - it leads us there logically
anyway ;-) We are not just rigid and brave enough in that area. From
Cerebrus example we know, that we can have incremental download (using
XOR). So e.g. if Core 2.5.4 is superset of Base 2.5.4, maybe those with
already having Base in-place, could just download some XY KBs, which
would be XORed against Base to create Core :-)

I can still see it in news section. I think that reference to above
mentioned doc is not on the main site for quite some time ...

Cool. More docs.
See bottom for a script to download the entire
dictionary, so you can browse it offline/locally.
Just ensure that location is set to where you
prefer.
