Multi-colored text in view

Currently REBOL/View doesn't support multi-colored text in edit areas (e.g., the "area" style). Has anyone developed their own style that supports multi-colored text? Was it discussed for the next major revision of view (which, sadly, I'm not expecting to see for a long time)? James

A few people have developed different approaches to handle this (maybe they'll chime in), but there is no plan to support this natively in View AFAIK, though a new View might appear sooner than you think.
