Rebol servers
[1/6] from: scot:ski2die at: 28-Jan-2002 11:47
Hi,
Is there a list of hosting providers available that provide Rebol hosting
(and what "level" of Rebol they provide)?
If not, do any of you have suggestions of speedy hosting services that have
Rebol w/databases and library hook-ins turned on?
Thanks,
Sco

Hi, I don't know but I might setup such a service in the near future. I already
have a system hooked up to the internet and yes, it will use Rebol for CGI.

RebolForces have a link to a list of REBOL hosting sites.
But I believed the link is down....

Maybe someone has a better idea.

My hoster is cniweb.net and hosts the rebol binary on a Linux RH
server. I'm sure he would put the binary on a windows server as well.

Sorry. Don't understand "library hookins" :>)
As for as databases, do you know about DocKimbel's mysql interface for
rebol?
I don't have a link for him anymore, I'm sure many on this list have
it...

The service I use for my website (a very limited endeavor, granted -
mostly a storage site and test platform) gives me things like 30MB of space
and shell access (redhat). The sysadmin had no problem with me installing
REBOL, so long as I didn't do something like start opening up additional
ports. Is this the sort of thing you're talking about, or are you wanting
more? (For instance, any cgi scripts I use are actually REBOL scripts.)

Oh, and I installed REBOL under ~/rebol - it's not system-wide.
