Is this list "the" REBOL lifeline?

Seems awfully quite on this list. Is there a more active REBOL "help"
venue?

To flesh out some of the URLs Graham listed.
AltME is a chat system. Most of the activity that was on this mailing
list moved to AltME.
You can see about half of the discussions here in a web archive
http://www.rebol.org/aga-groups-index.r?world=r3wp
To join, follow the [Join REBOL3 world] link
The Synapse forum and REBOLforum have been created to offer alternatives
to AltME.
And them there's the new baby on the block, Stackoverflow:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/rebol
You'll get quality answers at any of these venues -- most of the core
REBOL community members read them all and will respond to questions in
any venue. But AltME is the one where you are likely to get a response
in minutes rather than hours.
They are all worth exploring.

Thanks you both for the REBOL "help" links. Just to be clear, my
question should in NO way be taken as an insinuation that I was not
satisfied with the responses that I've received on this list. That
would be incorrect! I merely thought that this might be a "guru" or
developers
list, rather than a "noob" one. I'll be exploring the
other venues.
BTW, I did instal AltME last night. If I remember correctly from my
previous REBOL test-drive, I had to be invited into a REBOL
world
. Is that still the case? I'm not sure that I've used the
correct terminology in reference to AltME. TIA...

The list has been quiet for a while, but people are still around.

Cool! Then maybe it would be easier all the way around if I just
stayed put. :)

I always the list to be more productive than AltME. It is easy to lose
focus in a chat style enviroment so you end up shooting the breeze with
people rather than on solving your problems and getting something useful
done.
My 2 cents.

Good point! There's a time for chatting, and a time for ... _not_!
-Ed O'
Quiet is great, IMO! I was just checking REBOL's pulse, to see where
is was the strongest.
