Hi list! I did not found any example of the use of the cue function. Could anybody help me understand what it does ? TIA ! ==christophe

Hi Christophe... That's a really good question. I added it long ago with the idea of having a standard inherited feel function that would change font color based on the face's state. It's one of those general concepts that did not really become that useful in the big picture. -Carl purpose of cue was to priv At 01:05 AM 6/16/2004, you wrote:

Ah, thats its purpose. Just a hint: Its good to have that in a central place, because of list. When you have a text with action in a list, colors are messed up because of shared state. So in lists i set face/cue: none, and voila, i can use 'text etc without changing color. :)
