Strange emails

 [1/3] from: philb::upnaway::com at: 8-Aug-2003 12:08

Hi, Having some problems with my emails .... my ISP mailserver seems to be inserting the string "(null)" at the start of any emails I recieve (see below)? This seems to cause import-email not to polpulate most of its fields. (This isnt a Rebol problem, as checking the source of an email after receiving it with outlook shows the same error.) Is his a problem on my ISP's mailserver?? (This has only just started happening) Anyone seen this before?? Below is the full text of an email I sent to myself ----------- (null)Delivered-To: [philb--upnaway--com] Received: (qmail 16821 invoked from network); 8 Aug 2003 03:50:28 -0000 Received: from unknown (HELO phil) (202.71.172.50) by mail.upnaway.com with SMTP; 8 Aug 2003 03:50:28 -0000 To: [me--somewhere--com] From: [me--somewhere--com] Date: Fri, 8 Aug 2003 11:50:30 +0800 Subject: test X-REBOL: View 1.2.8.3.1 http://WWW.REBOL.COM MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" test

Hi Andrew, Yeah ... just talked to my ISP ... they are installing SPAM filters. Seemingly this inserted the extra 6 characters at the begining of the email that caused import-email not to decode the emails correctly. Anyway I have fixed up my mail reader so it it rmeoved the extrac characters if they are there. Cheers Phil === Original Message ===
