[REBOL] Strange crash upon SECOND SYSTEM/WORDS

Hello REBOLers,
REBOL/View 1.2.1.3.1 21-Jun-2001 crashes upon executing
a: copy second system/words
as well as
a: second system/words
... although SOURCE WHAT shows that the system itself executes such
a command:
.... (snip)
total: copy []
vals: second system/words
foreach word first system/words [
.... (snip)
How else could I extract the 'type? information of all words ?
