Not sure what I 'meant' but just tried in both Core and /View and
had the same results:
>> read serial://port1
** Access Error: Invalid port spec: serial://port1.
** Where: read serial://port1
>> read %/com1
== "ATZ\"
serial://port1 sounds very interesting to me......
maybe I am doing something wrong.
I will search back through the ML and see
what I can find. I remember a tip someone
made about the serial port...
