I say bad things about xmlspy, in the same market as xmlspy is xmetal.
The newer version xmetal 4, which I have not tried yet, seems to have
some good things going for it, the older version (xmetal 3) however I
would have a difficulty recommending as it always had problems handling
stuff that did not have a doctype or schema associated with it. The
older version seemed geared towards providing xml editing to document
specialists, xmlspy seems geared to providing it to programmers who need
to work with various xml formats, however I find that if one is working
with a format one knows in either the older version of xmetal or in
xmlspy one soon gets disgusted with the editors and decide to move onto
another editor, either a simple text editor such as EditPlus which I
often use or the following:
I would recommend http://www.topologi.com/products/tme/index.html
absolutely, however it presumes some expertise with xml.
