I think the problem would be if the script got stuck .. it could hang up
anyone else wanting to telnet to the box .. also there is the wonderful fact
that anything done via telnet is also done on the console (they are the same
thing), so if someone had a serial line in the back of the server they'd see
everything the script did and vice versa, so it could get pretty screwed :-)

Sorry about that but Air NZ tacks on asignature for me ... count yourself
lucky my sister in law worked for Goldman Sachs and there .sig was 3 pages
long!!
