Exactly, but the point here was the requirement. I do not
understand what it is. If you want to write HelloWorld.r, it's
just
print "Hello World!"
and it works across all versions of REBOL.
Now, REBOL probably has a lot of problems, but I really don't see
HelloWorld as being one of them.

It really depends; you can do that, you just have to pay for it. I
don't want to discuss if this is good or bad, this is just how it
is right now (and it could change in the near future).
Also, why do you need REBOL if you are writing something that can
be written more easily in another language? You don't. I need
REBOL because what I write in it would require 2x the time in most
other languages (10x on some of them).
