[REBOL] Re: Searching for experiences with /Command /Pro and IOS

From: gawain:macmillan:juwimm at: 13-Apr-2002 13:00

Hello Norman

My experience is good. I think all RT products are worth their money. From the free cross-platform scripting to the distributed desktop. It depends on what you want to do and what you are expecting :-) If you are looking for a programmers Valhalla then you already have it in core. If you (also) code for a living and write custom-apps and services (maybe OS-specific) and install it on your customers machines, then you owe RT money. To develop you need a copy anyway. IOS is a client/server and/or peer2peer product that embraces many good concepts amongst the hype of .NET, JAVA. I'm expecting a much more intelligent internet in the future and so expect IOS to aid us in making collaboration solutions in a specific market.
