[REBOL] Re: Mail Client(RebMale) - sourceforge ?

From: doublec:acc at: 17-Aug-2001 10:23

On the other side SourceForge provides something that YahooGroups dose not. Colloborative development via CVS. With multiple developers working on projects it can be very difficult to work together without a version control system. SourceForge will approve projects unless you want to distribute under a license which they don't currently support. In that case you need permission. If you are creating a free project under one of the major Open Source licenses (GPL, LGPL, BSD, MIT, Zlib, etc) then it'll be approved in as little as 24 hours. I run a project under SourceForge and it is extremely easy to administer if you have a little bit of experience with CVS. Just another side of the coin :-) Chris. -- http://www.double.co.nz/dylan
