[REBOL] Re: Where can I get documentation for the in-built functions of REBOL

From: bo:rebol at: 12-Jan-2001 11:21

This is one good option. There are a couple other options available now (or in the future for some of you): - Rebol.org has a wiki with REBOL functions where contributors can add their own information regarding the different functions. I just tried it out and it appears to be fully functional. http://www.rebol.org/cgi-bin/cgiwrap/rebol/wiki.r - REBOL/Express (which will likely be opened up as a public beta before too long) has at least a couple different tools already built-in to help with organizing and delivering this type of information. * Reference.r is a lot like the above wiki.r where it allows information to be added directly to the relevant function's entry. * The Knowledge Base is a user-extensible expert system that can contain undocumented information, problem workarounds, general knowledge, technical support help, etc. The knowledge base can optionally be exported as a static web site mirror of the data available in the knowledge base. This may be done once the amount of data available in the knowledge base is sufficient to warrant this. At some point, I imagine someone will harvest information from all available sources into one central master resource. The good news is that there are at least a few options available out there. Now people just need to use them! -Bo On 11-Jan-2001/18:06:11-6:00, [RChristiansen--pop--isdfa--sei-it--com] wrote:
