[REBOL] changes since 1.2 - more native!s?

Hello everyone, It seems to me that a few words have been "frozen" into native! words in this release, which would explain why rebol feels faster to me. For example; I am sure I was able to look at the source to words such as 'while, 'compose, etc. a short time ago... Am I just imagining things or has anyone looked into this? Anton.
