After sending my email I thought about similar reply. Well, if it can be found
on web, it is publicable imo. I think that main difference in my and yours pov
is lays mainly in political history of our countries ...
In our country, ppl don't change jobs so often. Maybe younger generation of ppl
does so, but still many ppl here don't change their jobs more then two or so
times during their productive life. It is artefact of communism imo, as there
was no motivation for ppl to go and try something else. In the area I live, many
many ppl regard loosing job as personal tragedy ....
Of course Jeff or anyone else here has absolute right to do whatever he/she
wants. I just would miss him. The problem is, I come from Amiga land, and I know
what the community means. I regard RT being part of community family. Do you
remember what happened once Fleecy was sacked by Gateway Amiga Inc.? You could
probably note, that many ppl following Rebol followed Carl in the first place,
when he left VisCorp.
Rebol is personal. Rebol is person. That's why some of us are nervous from time
to time - we want Rebol to be real success.
I hope Jeff or anyone else doesn't feel offended by my email ...
Cheers,
