[REBOL] Re: Making money with Rebol?

I could be trite and say Carl, Jim, Jeff, Holger, Bo etc etc.
Whilst making money is very important in as much as we all need to pay to
provide food & shelter as well as luxury goods & services, should it really
be of any worthwhile consideration when trying to learn & understand &
develop "a better means of expression" i.e REBOL.
If you are only in it for the money then why not just learn Visual Basic and
go and provide customised Microsoft Office Applications for Businesses, you
have a lifetimes work of maintaining, upgrading & de-bugging.
Charles Moore of FORTH fame once said there are 3 things you cn try to do
with a computer;
1. Try to be famous - this is very unlikely!
2. Try to get rich - this is very hard!
3. Try to have fun - this is easy!
REBOL will become more popular and there will be people who will earn their
living with REBOL, but just now the language is still very young compared to
it's competitor languages and withouth the backing of an industry giant to
steamroller it over everybody, but REBOL will succeed because it is simply a
much easier and more powerful means of expression.
My advice, Get a day job to pay the bills, try to get REBOL work if & when
you can, what the heck! learn & use REBOL just for the fun of it, you'll be
doing yourself a favour.
