NO Portability is not a song of the past, if you want it on a particular
platform, and you want it now, you will have to pay for it, because there are
other ppl paying for other things to be done. ;-) Now if you aren't in too
big of a hurry then you can simply wait and see if/when your particular
platform is released. I say "if" because ports are based on user request.
if you don't request a particular platform, it might not get ported. ;-( I
will tell you one thing though, unless somone with sufficient cash steps in
the next new port will be for Mac OSX as it is currently the most requested
(just a personal observation).
