Easier way to view scripts
[1/5] from: carl::rebol::com at: 10-Aug-2000 0:26
It's now easier to post scripts to share off the reb site. If you have them on a server,
you can just point to their URL, and a link will be immediately posted.
When the list gets larger, we can break it up by script category. I just don't have
the time to program that right now.
do http://www.rebol.com/view/demo41.r
or, just type DEMO and click on the Check REB Site button.
Do cool stuff,

Hello Carl,
Remember when View Beta 4 came out, a lot of people were having network
problems, i.e. not being able to connect to the REBsite with the DEMO,
etc.?
Well, I did too, after I tried to do it today! =)
Regards,
Rachid

So, you could not connect? Hmmm. Try running the experimental version of View available
from the www.rebol.com/xpers/xpers.html. It has 2 months worth of networking fixes/enhancements
compared to Beta 4.1. Pretty solid.

The problem is usually that rebol is unable to create its
$REBOL_HOME/public/www.rebol.com directory if the
$REBOL_HOME/public isnt present.
So, all people that have problem, pleas make sure you have a $REBOL_HOME/public
directory, and Carl&Co, please let rebol create that directory if it is missing.

Hi,
Also, REBOL/View may use the registry key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Rebol\View\HOME
instead of REBOL_HOME environment variable.
Check if that directory really exists, this was the cause of my
connection problems.
